Ghostpatrol creates worlds. His ongoing exploration of hybrid animals and forests travels across mediums; from pasted posters to soft sculpture, watercolours and printmaking. His work often references childhood nostalgia and pop culture, with often quite sinister and playful undertones. From beginnings in stencil and street art, his current practice focuses on ambitious installation and painting projects.

TIMBA SMITS // www.timbasmits.com

Timba Smits sure does live up to his name. He loves wood and if you were to yoink the M out of his last name the guy never sits! Constantly on the go jumping from project to project with a passion hotter than the cover of a Spanish romance novel, this one man design & art machine just can't sit still. Heck, if he had any spare time it ought to be spent sleeping but instead you're most likely to find him in the dark sketching away on his next creative plot.

At the core of this passion lives Wooden Toy Quarterly (his boogazine), the only quarterly publication famous to come out once a year. Outside of the stoopid hours spent frolicking under the covers of Wooden Toy, Timba also collaborates with some of the worlds most talented designers, illustrators and artists on exhibition projects such as his LYRICS AND TYPE shows (melb 2009, London 2010). Currently living and working out of a sunny studio in East London, Timba also dreams of being a future olympic ping-pong playa and the worlds tallest ninja.
